Amazon Associates: Add Another Website After You Are Approved
Amazon Associates add website after approval: Site-Then-Qualify. Edit your website list for a new property—not a beginners guide, not reject reapply, not reports.

Amazon Associates add website after approval is the Account Settings job: put another URL on your website list so Amazon knows which properties you use—without opening a second beginners guide.
This page is Site-Then-Qualify. It is not Amazon Associates for beginners (program fit / first enrollment). It is not application rejected (reapply after a no). It is not reports click vs purchase. It is not SiteStripe or cookie / commission window.
Qualify the new property’s content first. Add it via Edit your website list. Complete the declaration. Tag links for that site if you use extra tracking IDs.

Disclosure: Amazon Associates is Amazon’s program. Menus change. Live Central help wins. CashPilot has not reviewed your sites. Not legal advice.

Site-Then-Qualify
SITE-THEN-QUALIFY
1. BUILD → original, public content on the new property
2. CHECK → review bar (posts, recency, ownership)
3. ADD → Account Settings → Edit your website list
4. DECLARE → Next / declaration steps in Central
5. TAG → optional tracking ID per site (other owner)
6. LINK → Special Links only on declared, suitable Sites
A second blog is not automatically a second Associates account. Amazon’s add-site help exists so existing associates keep the website list current under the Operating Agreement.
If your first application was rejected, stop here and use the rejected owner. This URL assumes you already have a live Associates account.
What Amazon’s add-site help says
From Adding a New Site to the Website List (confirm live text after you pick country):
- If you have more than one website, keep sites up to date per the Operating Agreement.
- To add another website (or multiple) to your existing Associates account, enter the URL(s) and use the add control.
- Path summarized in help: sign in → hover email → Account Settings → Edit your website list → enter URL under Enter Your Website(s) → add → Next to complete the declaration process.
Labels move. If your Central shows a different Account Settings path, follow the screen you are signed into—not a screenshot from 2019.
Sibling help on the same hub covers removing a site you no longer use, and questions about applying more than once. Removing sites is not this SERP. Accidental duplicate applications are not this SERP. We will not invent a “always create a second account” rule when Amazon’s published path is “add to the list.”
Qualification expectations before you click Add
Adding a URL is not a content free pass. Amazon’s Application Review Process (confirm live) still describes what they look for on Sites you provide—websites, mobile apps, social pages, Alexa skills:
- Robust original content (even with advertising removed)—a good rule of thumb is at least 10 posts
- Publicly available (not a closed group or behind a paywall)
- Unsuitable Sites cannot participate
- Keep the Site list updated so Amazon reviews the right traffic sources
- For websites: content generally recent (within the last 60 days); you must own the website
Social networks have their own acceptance list and follower guidance on that same help page—confirm live before you declare Instagram, YouTube, or another profile as a Site.
Program Policies also state Sites must contain original content and be publicly available at the address provided, and that unsuitable Sites cannot include Special Links or Product Advertising Content. Read the live unsuitable list rather than memorizing a blog summary.
Practical bar before you add:
- Publish real pages a stranger can open without logging in
- Prefer original reviews, guides, or curation with commentary—not empty affiliate grids
- Fix trademark and disclosure issues on the new property the same way you would for first enrollment (beginners still owns disclosure tone; this page will not retell the whole onboarding story)
One mistake people make: paste a brand-new domain with two thin posts, add it to the list, and wonder why traffic review feels harsh. Qualify first. Add second.
Tags, reports, and doors this page will not own
Extra tracking IDs under one Associates ID help you see which site earned a line—covered on tracking ID vs store ID. Creating a tag is not the same as adding the website to the list. Do both when you run multiple properties.
Click vs order vs ship stays on reports. Cookie and qualify timing stays on cookie window. Copying links while browsing stays on SiteStripe.
If Amazon later rejects participation tied to a property, use application rejected—do not turn this URL into a second reject tutorial.

Add one qualified URL, then tag it
Ship enough original public pages on the new property. Open Adding a New Site, complete Edit your website list, and finish the declaration. Create a tracking ID for that property if you want clean reporting. For first-time program fit, stay on beginners. For a hard no from Amazon, use application rejected.
