Amazon Associates SiteStripe: Official Links Without Cloaking

Amazon Associates SiteStripe: copy official Special Links from Amazon while logged in. Stripe-Then-Paste—no cloaking, no mystery shorteners. Distinct from beginners and cookie posts.

Amazon Associates SiteStripe: Official Links Without Cloaking

People search Amazon Associates SiteStripe when they want a clean copy-paste link—not another “what is Associates” lesson.

This page is Stripe-Then-Paste. It is not Amazon Associates for beginners. It is not cookie window and commission. Disclosure wording is a third URL: Amazon Associates disclosure vs FTC.

Sign in, open the Amazon page you will recommend, copy the SiteStripe Get Link (confirm your tag), paste it on your site, and keep the destination obviously Amazon. Do not cloak.

Disclosure: CashPilot may earn a commission from some links at no extra cost to you. Marketplace rules differ. Official Associates pages win.

Stripe-Then-Paste

        STRIPE-THEN-PASTE
  1. SIGN IN → Associates + amazon.com (or your locale)
  2. OPEN → the product or category you will mention
  3. STRIPE → Get Link → text / short (confirm Associate ID)
  4. PASTE → on your site — destination still reads Amazon
  5. SKIP → mystery redirects that hide the Amazon URL

Official SiteStripe help: Associates Central — SiteStripe. Amazon describes Get Link for short and long links to the current page, with your Associate ID already on the short link, and Settings to show or hide the stripe.

If you are not on a product detail page, you cannot invent a product Special Link from a search results screenshot. Open the product first.

Cloaking is a policy job, not a “growth hack”

Amazon’s Operating Agreement / Program Policies and Participation Requirements include language that you will not cloak, hide, spoof, or obscure the URL of the site that contains Special Links (including via redirecting links) so Amazon cannot see where the click came from. A nearby rule: do not use a shortener, button, or placement that makes it unclear the visitor is going to an Amazon site.

That is why “pretty branded buttons that bounce through three domains” is a risk conversation—not a design flex.

You are also responsible for placing the tag so tracking works. Un-tagged amazon.com URLs are not Associates links.

Gift-guide intent is still a different post: Amazon Gift Guides That Still Match Search Intent. How you build the URL is this page.
