If you are not on a product detail page, you cannot invent a product Special Link from a search results screenshot. Open the product first.

Cloaking is a policy job, not a “growth hack”

Amazon’s Operating Agreement / Program Policies and Participation Requirements include language that you will not cloak, hide, spoof, or obscure the URL of the site that contains Special Links (including via redirecting links) so Amazon cannot see where the click came from. A nearby rule: do not use a shortener, button, or placement that makes it unclear the visitor is going to an Amazon site.

That is why “pretty branded buttons that bounce through three domains” is a risk conversation—not a design flex.

You are also responsible for placing the tag so tracking works. Un-tagged amazon.com URLs are not Associates links.
