Text to Speech Online Free: Turn a Script Into Audio
open this tool now
Text to speech online free: paste a script, pick a voice, listen. CashPilot’s neural TTS plus a Speak-Then-Trim pass so you do not publish raw machine audio. Check the live tool card.

Text to speech online free is a listen job: a script in, speech out, in the browser.
Open the tool when the words are ready: Text to Speech.
This is not Descript for Freelancers (timeline editing). It is not Best AI Video Editing Tools. Those stay owners.
Paste a cleaned script, pick a listed voice, listen once, then trim the sentences that the voice trips on. Do not treat raw TTS as a finished podcast.
The catalog of PDF/Word/text jobs stays on CashPilot Free Tools. This URL owns one intent: script → speech.

What the live card actually says
Re-check if you read this later. On CashPilot’s TTS page at the time of this update:
- Free neural voices (Microsoft), no API bill on that advertised tier
- A character field capped at 2,000 characters (the counter on the card)
- English voices are more numerous; Urdu has fewer real speakers (female/male)
- Pitch tricks were removed so the voice stays less robotic
- You paste text, pick a language and a person voice, then Speak or Stop
If a control is gone next month, the live card wins. Do not treat this article as a feature contract.
Other text utilities live on Text Tools. TTS is one door, not the whole suite.
Speak-Then-Trim
SPEAK-THEN-TRIM
1. WRITE → short sentences, expand abbreviations
2. SPEAK → one voice, one language from the live list
3. MARK → timestamps where it stumbles
4. TRIM → fix those lines, speak again
5. USE → draft listen / accessibility check / scratch VO
Raw machine audio is a draft. The pass that matters is the second listen: you mark the gasp, fix the line, speak again. One paragraph at a time beats dumping a whole post into the 2,000-character box and hoping.
Expand abbreviations the voice will mangle (e.g., CTA, client initials). Write numbers the way you want them said. Split a 40-word sentence. TTS is literal; it will not save a muddy script.
Stay on one voice for a given listen. Switching speakers mid-paragraph makes the stumble list useless.
Clean the script before you press Speak
TTS reads what you typed. Double spaces and wrapped PDF lines make it gasp. Collapse spaces on Whitespace Remover and join broken lines on Remove Line Breaks first.
Do not feed it a 3,000-word unedited AI dump and call it an episode. You will hit the character cap anyway. Human edit still matters: How to Edit AI Content So It Sounds Human.
Paste a section that can finish inside the live cap. If the post is longer, speak it in chunks and stitch later in a real editor—that stitch job is not this URL.
YouTube packaging is a different cluster: YouTube SEO for Beginners. TTS is not a ranking hack. A robotic VO will not fix a weak title.
Honest uses (and skips)
Fits:
- Proofing a post by ear before you publish
- A scratch voice-over while you wait on a human narrator
- Checking how a sentence sounds in a listed English or Urdu voice
- An accessibility listen for a script you already wrote
Skip:
- A client who needs a named human narrator or a union/talent release
- A language the dropdown does not list
- A finished podcast you plan to sell as “studio quality” without a second tool
- Timeline edits, captions, and multicam—those stay with Descript / AI video owners
Browser TTS is a listen and scratch door. It is not a replacement for Descript for Freelancers when the job is cut, studio sound, and delivery.
When you still need a human VO
If the client asked for a person on camera or a voice they already know, do not surprise them with neural TTS. Say what you used. Some buyers will accept a scratch track; others will not.
Commercial use is a terms question, not a vibe. Read CashPilot Tools terms and any Microsoft / voice-provider notes the live page mentions. If you cannot find a clear yes, do not promise the client a cleared commercial VO.
Long-form shows still need an editor. Generate a scratch, then move to a timeline tool. This page will not become a second Descript tutorial.
FAQ
What does text to speech online free mean?
Paste text, pick a voice, listen. CashPilot’s door is Text to Speech. Caps live on the card.
Is it free?
The advertised neural tier is free with no API bill to you. Character caps and voice lists are on the live card. Re-check before a client job.
Which languages?
Whatever the live dropdown lists. English and Urdu are the ones the page emphasizes today; Urdu has fewer speaker options.
Is this Descript?
No. Timeline editing stays on the Descript owner. AI video comparisons stay on the video-tools owner. This URL is script → speech.
Commercial use?
Read Tools terms and provider rules. If a client needs a talent release, browser TTS may be the wrong product. When unsure, ask the client.
Account required?
See the live page. Do not invent a login rule here.
Why does it sound wrong?
Fix the script: punctuation, abbreviations, short sentences. Speak again. Pitch gimmicks are not the fix.
Where is the hub?
CashPilot Free Tools. Pair whitespace and line-break cleaners before you paste a PDF dump.
Speak one paragraph you will publish this week. Trim two stumbles. Then decide if you even need a human VO.
