Free Salary Slip Generator Online: Letterhead and Payslip PDF

A free salary slip generator online job is one readable payslip PDF: earnings, deductions, net pay—and, when you have branded paper, a company letterhead that actually fits A4 instead of a stretched logo.

Open it: Salary Slip Generator.

This page is Letterhead-Then-Net. It is not the Free Tools hub catalog. It is not a free invoice generator (client bills). Tax ballpark stays on free tax estimate.

Live tool copy (re-check the card): fill earnings and deductions, optionally upload company letterhead (JPG/PNG/PDF) with live fit preview, then download a clean PDF payslip. Ten layouts. Optional logo. Currency and pay-period fields on the form.

Disclosure: Salary Slip is our own CashPilot Tools product. Not payroll legal advice. Live labels win if a control name moves.

Pick a layout, overlay real A4 stationery if you have it, prove net pay equals earnings minus deductions, then download that PDF—not a screenshot of the form.

What changed on the tool

The old walkthrough stopped at “type numbers, get a PDF.” The live generator now treats stationery as its own pass.

Verified on the Salary Slip page:

  • Optional company letterhead — advertised as A4 JPG/PNG/PDF
  • Live fit preview so you see how the slip sits on that page
  • Full-page stationery; PDF uses the first page
  • Slip content overlays with a light panel so header/footer stay visible
  • Optional company logo as a separate upload
  • 10 templates; the PDF uses the layout you picked

After you attach stationery, the live card may show extra fit controls (sliders or presets). Those labels can change. Use whatever the preview exposes until the header and footer look like your printed letterhead—then generate. Do not treat a remembered slider name as the contract.

Catalog line on All tools: payslip PDF with letterhead upload, live fit preview, and 10 templates.

Letterhead-Then-Net

        LETTERHEAD-THEN-NET
  1. LAYOUT → pick one of 10 templates
  2. STATIONERY → optional A4 JPG / PNG / PDF (first PDF page)
  3. FIT → live A4 preview (+ on-page sliders/presets if shown)
  4. PAY → earnings rows, then deductions
  5. CHECK → net = earnings − deductions
  6. PDF → Generate PDF, open the file offline

Skip fit and you still get a file. You also get a slip that covers the company name on the letterhead, or a tiny logo blown up into a blurry banner. Banks and landlords notice that faster than your teal accent color.

Skip the net check and the pretty page is still wrong. A letterhead does not fix math.

Use letterhead when you already print on branded A4. Scan or export that sheet at a size close to a full page. Empty the middle: that is where the light panel and pay tables sit.

Use logo when you only have a mark, not stationery. A 400-pixel PNG is a logo job, not a letterhead job.

If the source is a PDF, the tool uses page one. Multi-page brand guides will not stamp page three onto the slip. Export a one-page letterhead first.

Watch the live A4 fit preview before you hit Generate PDF. If the live card offers sliders or fit presets after upload, nudge until your header bar and footer line stay outside the pay tables. Confirm those control names on the card—this article will not invent pixel values.

Keep payroll files offline after download. Letterhead often includes a registered address and sometimes a stamp. That is still personal and company data. Password managers for freelancer logins are for vaulting logins, not for storing payslip PDFs.

Step-by-step payslip PDF

  1. Open Salary Slip.
  2. Choose a template under 1. Choose a template (ten layouts; the PDF uses that design).
  3. Fill company name (required) and address. Optional: upload logo. Optional: upload letterhead, then use the live A4 fit preview.
  4. Fill employee name (required), plus ID, designation, department, joining date if you keep those on records.
  5. Set month, year, and currency. Confirm the live year list if you read this later.
  6. Add earnings rows first (Basic Salary is the required amount line). Add or remove extra lines as needed.
  7. Add deductions. Totals on the form should match a second calculator in your hand.
  8. Payment mode, date, bank fields, IBAN, notes—only what you actually want on the PDF.
  9. Generate PDF. Open it on another screen. Archive a copy; do not share a group-chat screenshot of the form.

Free-tier size caps still sit on the live card, not in this paragraph. Trust the upload hint if a letterhead file is huge.

Ten layout presets

These names are on the live template picker. Pick for how the slip will be read, not for which thumbnail looks “premium.”

PresetLive note
Classic TealDefault. Teal header, two-column tables
Modern MinimalStacked tables, thin accent, more whitespace
Corporate NavyFull navy header band
Stripe SidebarColored left rail with employee info
Compact TableDense single column; prints well on one page
Elegant BorderDouble frame, warm accent
Bold BannerLarge banner with net pay up top
Employee PanelLeft employee/payment panel, right earnings
MonochromeBlack and gray; bank / audit friendly
Soft MintSoft green wash, rounded card

Letterhead sits under the chosen layout. A busy Elegant Border plus a busy scanned letterhead is how numbers disappear. Compact Table or Monochrome is usually kinder to heavy stationery.

When this is the wrong document

Contractor work is an invoice. Use the invoice generator walkthrough and, if money is late, the late-invoice follow-up emails page—not a fake “salary” heading.

Paid invoicing software is a different seat from a one-off PDF. That comparison lives on invoicing software for freelancers.

This generator is not a filing engine. For take-home ballparks by country, use Tax Estimate. For record-keeping habits, use the freelance tax overview. Neither replaces a payroll provider when you have statutory filings.

FAQ

What is a free salary slip generator online?

A browser tool that turns earnings, deductions, and net pay into a payslip PDF without a full HR suite. CashPilot’s generator also lets you upload company letterhead (JPG, PNG, or PDF) and fit it on a live A4 preview before you download.

Can I add a company letterhead to the payslip PDF?

Yes. Under company details, upload optional A4 stationery. The live card accepts JPG/PNG/PDF (the picker also lists common image types such as WebP/GIF). If you upload a PDF, the first page is the stationery. Slip content sits on a light panel so header and footer stay visible. Confirm the live preview before Generate PDF.

No. Logo is a small mark next to company name. Letterhead is full-page stationery. Use the logo field for a square or wide mark. Use letterhead for letterheaded paper. Mixing them up is how a tiny logo gets stretched across A4.

Do I have to use letterhead?

No. Letterhead is optional. A clean template plus company name and address is enough for many internal records. Add stationery when the employee, bank, or landlord expects branded paper.

No. The tool formats numbers and layout you enter. Local tax, minimum wage, and statutory deduction rules stay your responsibility. Complex benefits or multi-country payroll still need proper software or a pro.

Can freelancers use this for contractors?

You can format a payment summary, but do not label a contractor bill as an employee salary slip. Client bills belong on the invoice generator. Payslips are for employment-style pay records.

Is this the Free Tools hub catalog?

No. This URL is the one-job walkthrough for a salary slip PDF with letterhead. The hub catalog lists every suite.

Where do I open the tool?

Open cashpilottools.com/salary-slip. Pick a template, fill pay lines, optionally fit letterhead on the live A4 preview, then Generate PDF and open the file offline once.

Download one slip tonight

Open the Salary Slip Generator. If you have A4 letterhead, upload it and watch the fit preview. If you only have a logo, use the logo field. Prove net pay. Download the PDF.

The free salary slip generator online job ends when that file matches your math and your paper—not when you have clicked every template thumbnail.
